Job Description
We are seeking a Sterile Compounding Technician II to perform a variety of complex technical skills and functions in preparing hazardous and nonhazardous agents under the supervision of the dispensing practitioner.
Requirements
- Review medication orders to ensure accuracy
- Perform mathematical calculations to determine appropriate drug measurements
- Prepare sterile and non-sterile medications as ordered by the prescriber
- Maintain necessary records and logs
- Order, stock, and dispense medical supplies and drugs
- Properly handle and dispose of hazardous drugs and waste materials
- Assess temperature monitoring systems and track accurate temperatures of all ambient and refrigerated drugs
- Collaborate with various departments to track and order all patient's drugs
