• Curriculum development
• Student academic advising and mentoring
• Applied or interdisciplinary research in areas consistent with Florida Polytechnic University’s mission and a corresponding record of publications in reputable peer reviewed journals
• Successful completion of funded research projects
• Contributing or sole author on proposals for grants or other funded research opportunities
• Relevant technical work in industry or consulting
• Evidence of effective teaching
• Relevant research or industry experience
• Experience in curriculum delivery and development
• Experience with students’ academic advising and mentoring
• Demonstrated ability to conduct independent applied research
• Experience as contributing author or sole author on research proposals
• Professional activities and organizations
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and work effectively with a broad campus community
