Job Description
The Family Engagement Specialist provides residential screening and parent education for youth and/or families who have requested the services of the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches. This role works cooperatively with staff to provide time limited aftercare support and networking depending on the youth’s length of stay in the program.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in social work, or Counseling, is preferred from an accredited college or university; or a bachelor’s degree in social work, Counseling, or a directly related field from an accredited college or university and two (2) years’ experience in child welfare and/or working with children with serious emotional disturbances is acceptable.
