Engineering Manager - H

Flowers Foods is a leading producer of packaged bakery goods in the US, and this role involves managing engineering projects and teams to ensure optimal efficiency and production schedules.

Requirements

• Manage superintendents and projects
• Manage Capital expenditure (CapEx) program and Maintenance Repair and Operations (MRO) annual planning and forecasting
• Manage employee development and succession planning
• Utilize SAP to review and approve various reports
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) of inventory variances
• Review spare parts stock level
• Attend plant operation meetings
• Attend vendor meetings and coordinate planning
• Oversee financial review and reporting, monitoring and reporting on Profit & Loss (P&L) reports for maintenance spend
• Conduct floor walks with superintendent for department-work verification
• Manage equipment trends: parts usage, breakdown frequencies, and top cost contributors
• Conduct critical equipment inspection work verification
• Conduct preventive maintenance (PM) program assessments and modify based on trending, plant needs, and/or changes
