Job Description
The Procurement Manager is responsible for leading the supply chain function at a site level, ensuring operational execution, and managing a team of Procurement Specialists. The role involves sourcing, procurement, and vendor management to meet site revenue and customer delivery goals.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Supply Chain
- Strong interpersonal relationship management
- Evidenced understanding of both commercial and technical areas of supply chain
- Very strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of supply base within the BU area of operation (products/markets etc)
- Understanding of market dynamics
- Strong analytical skills which involves collecting, analyzing and interpreting data
- Ability to influence, communicate, and collaborate at all organizational levels
- Strong leadership, collaboration and communication skills
- Knowledge of ERP Systems such as SAP, Oracle and/or Avante
- Experience in root cause analysis, A3, 5-why or other structured problem solving.
