Job Description
Join us on a transformation journey as our Logistics Manager, EMEA and CA&I, leading operational logistics team and logistics execution for a given geographical area.
Requirements
- Determine shipping methods, sizing, load plan, routes, or rates for materials to be shipped.
- Ensure shipping activities are followed as per logistics regulations and statutory requirements.
- Develop forecasting plans to maintain enough inventory and coordinate the transportation or distribution of goods and services.
- Maintain schedules and verify goods reach their destination in a timely manner.
- Handle insurance issues regarding transportation to protect FLSmidth’s interests.
- Work with Suppliers and warehouse personnel to ensure shipments and cost targets are met.
