Job Description
The Welder will be responsible for welding steel components using welding equipment, setting up and laying out work, and operating various hand tools. They will also be responsible for inspecting and correcting welds, maintaining equipment, and adhering to safety procedures.
Requirements
- Welding certification(s) preferred
- 2 years' experience preferred
- Understanding of basic metallurgy, tolerance, tools, mathematics, layout
- Ability to interpret blue prints
- Knowledge of health and safety requirements
- Computer skills: ability to use the computer for time tracking purposes
