Job Description
Fluidstack, a leading cloud provider, is seeking a DCIM Software Engineer to build internal tooling that streamlines data-center hardware management, asset-tracking, and operational insights. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of coding experience, a deep understanding of distributed-system design patterns, and hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements
- 5+ years of coding experience in Go, Rust, Java, C++, or similar
- Deep knowledge of distributed-system design patterns and scalability
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, and modern CI/CD pipelines
- Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, and concurrency/multithreading
- Comfortable with TCP/IP, network programming, and Unix/Linux environments
- Ability to balance trade-offs to deliver scalable, reliable, and efficient infrastructure
- Ability to build strong cross-team relationships and drive shared success
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science (or equivalent) and 5–8+ years professional experience
- Ability to convey complex ideas succinctly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
