V1 Technician

The V1 Technician will report to the Video Operations Manager and be responsible for preparing and operating LED systems, directing on-site implementation of various video systems, and mentoring V2 level technicians. The role requires extensive knowledge of Video installation in temporary settings for both outdoor and indoor venues.

Requirements

• Relevant degree or certification in Video or related fields preferred
• Proven expertise as a V1 in live event production, with a strong track record in various events (touring, corporate, theatre, and concerts)
• Proficiency in the following Video systems: Building video walls, Matrix switchers, Understanding of video resolutions and signal types, Various digital video players and/or recording devices, Small and Large Venue projectors and projection screens, Robotic and manned cameras, Color correction and white balance adjustment, Knowledge of live streaming and video capture workflows.
• Able to deploy video wall trailers (SP-100), Perform on site Video rigging and can identify compromised rigging hardware, Strong knowledge of electrical systems and low voltage wiring, Valid driver's license and ability to maintain DOT medical clearance, CDL Class A is a plus - or willingness to acquire one
