Staff Software Engineer

Flywheel is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to play a critical role in shaping their technology and platforms. The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of software engineering experience, expertise in Java or Spring Boot, and proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases.

Requirements

• 12+ years of software engineering experience
• Prior experience building and scaling event driven architectures
• Expert proficiency in Java or Spring Boot
• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases
• Some experience in front-end technologies e.g. Angular
• Deep knowledge of cloud technologies e.g. AWS
• Solid grasp of algorithms, data structures, and distributed systems design
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Skilled at building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
