Job Description
The experienced Ultrasound Tech performs diagnostic sonographic examinations, evaluating and recording physiological and anatomical data. Monitors patient safety, prepares patients for exams, and provides education. Leads and directs the work of others. Reliable performance of clinical, safety, and communication skills is expected.
Requirements
- Perform high quality neonatal, pediatric and adult cardiac Echocardiogram examinations in a prudent and efficient manner.
- Provide compassionate and dignified patient care.
- Triage requests to ensure timely image completion.
- Evaluate patients to ensure their safety.
- Adhere to hospital policy on Paid Time Off and Extended Illness Time.
