HVAC Mechanic 2 - Ascension Campus

The HVAC Systems Specialist is responsible for the preventative maintenance, special projects, and contracting of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems within the hospital or health care facility. They will maintain and repair equipment, ensuring equipment safety, proper operation, and compliance with hospital policy. The role requires strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Requirements

• Utilizes time to accomplish work in an efficient manner.
• Represents Plant Operations at safety committee, quality improvement initiative, construction projects, and staff meetings.
• Maintains and repairs boilers and associated support equipment and controls.
• Adheres to hospital policy on the usage of Paid Time Off and Extended Illness Time.
