Job Description
This Imaging Informatics Specialist will lead the operational and human resources for the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS). They will also act as a liaison in digital imaging initiatives, responsible for QC activities, and oversee new system developments. This role involves system maintenance, user support, software development, and ensuring HIPAA compliance.
Requirements
- Maintains the RIS/PACS system.
- Performs file and database maintenance.
- Works with RIS/PACS functional team in evaluating system changes.
- Performs technical supervision of system users.
- Develops and maintains policies for interdepartmental functions.
- Monitors hardware and coordinates repair.
- Provides on-site technical assistance.
- Develops and manages the annual operating budget.
