Licensed Practical Nurse Medicine Unit (PRN) - Our Lady of the Angels

The Licensed Practical Nurse provides basic therapeutic nursing care to patients on the Medicine Unit under the direction and supervision of the RN. The LPN is responsible for providing direct patient care, administering medications, and maintaining patient records.

Requirements

• BSN degree from an accredited nursing program
• Current Louisiana LPN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current immunizations, including influenza (annual) and Tdap (every 10 years)
• PAPR mask required for all non-OPP exposure and in cardiac arrest codes
