LPN Clinic - Peds Float Pool

The LPN Clinic provides patient care following established standards and practices. Assists physician, nurse, and staff with patient care and patient access, coordinates patient flow, and may serve as a preceptor for clinical staff.

Requirements

• Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process under the direction and supervision of the healthcare provider.
• Review diagnostic test results and report abnormal results and changes in patient condition to the RN, physician, and healthcare team members.
• Administer prescribed medications, therapies, and treatments in accordance with practical nursing standards.
• Maintain a safe environment for patients and healthcare team members.
• Implement components of the plan of care within the LPN scope of practice and competency to promote desired outcomes.
