Physical Therapy Assistant PRN FLT

The Physical Therapy Assistant provides physical therapy treatment, under supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist. Responsibilities include treatment program implementation, adaptive device fitting, patient education, and documentation of treatment progress. The position also involves supervising Rehabilitation Technicians and Aides.

Requirements

• Maintains departmental policies and procedures.
• Assists the Physical Therapist with patient testing and procedures.
• Carries out treatment programs for assigned patients.
• Designs and fits adaptive devices.
• Teaches patients/family skills and techniques.
• Reports patient condition changes.
