Pulmonary/Critical Care Physician

The Staff Physician provides direct patient care and emergency services to ensure patient healthcare needs are met at all times.

Requirements

• Demonstrates a commitment to the philosophy and values of the organization
• Accurately assesses health status of patients
• Provides medical supervision and direction of all care rendered
• Develops treatment protocols as necessary
• Maintains a good working relationship with consulting, referring and attending physicians
• Participates in committee activities required of hospital Medical Staff members
• Maintains complete and accurate record-keeping of all patient care related activities
• Demonstrates competency and accuracy in all work tasks
• Displays good problem-solving skills and takes responsibility for improving technical skills
• Demonstrates a complete understanding of patient confidentiality policy
