Radiology Technologist 2

Performs diagnostic medical procedures producing diagnostic medical radiographs, maintains established departmental policies and procedures, and supports the hospital's Christian mission.

Requirements

• Radiographic examinations using C-arms, portable and stationary radiographic imaging equipment
• Develops film including evaluating film for technical quality
• Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental and infection control standards
• Checks equipment, supplies and accessories on a regular basis
• Maintains x-ray and other equipment in efficient operating order
• Performs preventative maintenance on a regularly scheduled basis
• Maintains clean and orderly work areas
• Requests and orders supplies as necessary to keep materials on hand at all times
• Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, Inservice meetings and workshops
• Prepares written documentation as required by the profession and the department
• Supports the hospital's Christian mission, philosophy, values, and goals
• Participates in and supports established Performance Improvement Program
• Attends JCAHO required and hospital mandatory Inservice programs
• Observes hospital dress code and maintains appropriate conduct and appearance
• Maintains confidentiality of all information regarding patients, families, physicians and hospital personnel
