Job Description
The Registered Respiratory Therapist participates in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with pulmonary disorders, and is responsible for the initiation and management of Life Support Systems under the direction of the physician.
Requirements
- Compliance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures
- Efficiently record patient care data and preserve confidentiality
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff
- Maintain competency in Arterial Line insertion, intubation, and advanced ventilation
- Teach and train other respiratory employees
