This position will provide quality mental health services to students in the SBHC setting, including individual, group, and family therapy, case management, and crisis prevention and intervention services.
Requirements
- Provides mental health services consistent with established productivity standards.
- Completes psychosocial and risk assessments in order to determine appropriate interventions and treatment.
- Maintains a caseload of 50 or more students per school year.
- Develops and implements a minimum of 2 therapeutic groups per year for students with identified needs and facilitates group mental health education.
- Provides appropriate treatment of students with mental health diagnoses.
- Accurately completes reports in a timely manner.
- Presents assessment and treatment recommendations at interdisciplinary staffing, social workers meetings and other scheduled opportunities.
- Provides consultative services to school staff, interns, and community partners regarding mental health issues.
- Actively participates in training opportunities including preschool conference, professional meetings and in-services.
