
Job description
The Mechanical Engineer – Utilities Engineering is responsible for designing, analyzing, and implementing industrial utility systems that support manufacturing and processing facilities. This role will be part of a growing Utilities Engineering Team, responsible for developing standardized utility system designs, supporting project execution, and ensuring reliable and efficient operation of plant utilities across projects.
Design and develop industrial utility systems, including refrigeration, steam, compressed air, and plant utility piping networks. Produce detailed industrial refrigeration system designs, including ammonia, Freon, and CO2 systems, and associated piping, valves, pumps, and instrumentation.
This role requires strong technical expertise, project coordination skills, and the ability to travel internationally for project support and commissioning. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial mechanical engineering, with a focus on utilities or manufacturing environments, and excellent English writing and speaking skills.
