Job Description
The Dietary Aide at Stony Brook University Hospital performs various patient services, including patient visitation, tray assembly, distribution and service, general sanitation, cleaning, and use of kitchen equipment and pantries. Must be available 4-10 pm, weekends and holidays.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English, follow written and verbal instructions, and complete simple computational skills
- Ability to meet travel requirements associated with this position
- Ability to meet acceptable background check standards
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as appropriate
