Director of Financial Planning and Analysis

Fooda is seeking a Director of Financial Planning and Analysis to lead and scale a best-in-class financial planning and analysis function. This role will serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership, owning the company's financial planning processes, delivering actionable insights, and ensuring strong financial discipline as we continue to grow.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA a plus)
• 7 - 10+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, or related fields, with increasing scope and responsibility
• Experience operating in a high-growth, venture-backed, or similarly fast-paced environment
• Experience managing and leading team members
• Background supporting a multi-unit or high transaction business (e.g., marketplaces, logistics, food service, retail)
• Proven ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
• Strong understanding of financial statements, with the ability to connect P&L performance to underlying business drivers and unit economics
• Advanced financial modeling skills and high proficiency in Excel (experience with FP&A or BI tools a plus)
• Experience working with or managing lender relationships, debt compliance, and/or capital planning
• Track record of building or improving FP&A processes, reporting, and systems to support scale
• Strong communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership, board members, or investors
• Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and operate effectively in a player-coach capacity
