Autonomous Engineer (gn) @ Autonomous Vehicle Venture, Valencia

We are looking for an Autonomous Engineer to join our team at Voltrac, a startup working on autonomous electric tractors to strengthen Europe's food security and defense. The role involves building and maintaining autonomy stack end-to-end, from data ingestion to production deployments. We are open to shaping the role to fit your expertise, but prefer teams with high ownership and autonomy.

Requirements

• Strong, hands-on coding ability and solid software engineering fundamentals
• Awareness of the state of the art in autonomous systems and a practical sense of what is actually ready for the field
• A track record of deploying models that worked outside of a notebook or slide deck
• Willingness to go on site and test on real machines with real constraints
• Ability to work in a self-directed way on your own topics, while actively collaborating with engineers, technicians, operators, and sales
• Fluent in English; conversational Spanish is a plus
• Ability to responsibly use AI
