Vice President - Underwriting, Healthcare Finance

The Vice President - Underwriting, Healthcare Finance will work closely with the Director's of the Healthcare Finance Division to grow the Healthcare Finance business. The Vice President will analyze, structure, and close loan opportunities; and develop and manage borrower and business partner relationships.

Requirements

• Analyze potential direct loan origination opportunities and loan participation opportunities to providers of healthcare services and owners of healthcare real estate
• Work with internal and external counsel to document and negotiate new loans
• Prepare loan approval write-ups to present to the Bank's credit committee
• Oversee and review the work of Analysts and Associates
• Coordinate loan closings with operations team
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and other business partners
• Work with portfolio management team to monitor and track the financial performance of companies in the loan portfolio and prepare performance update memorandums
• Periodically assist with monitoring and managing borrower relationships after closing of transactions
