Senior Embedded Controls Engineer, Body Controls

We are seeking a Senior Embedded Controls Engineer to join our Electric Vehicles, Digital and Design team. You will be responsible for creating control/estimation algorithms, leading the design and integration of body controls hardware components, and collaborating with software integration teams. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Long Beach, CA.

Requirements

• Create control/estimation algorithms for body control features
• Lead the design and integration of body controls hardware components
• Collaborate with software integration teams
• Understand functional safety principles and participate in functional safety analyses
• Develop comprehensive test plans and perform thorough testing
• Spearhead body controls feature development
• Author subsystem block diagrams and lead subsystem reviews
