Provide clinical psychological expertise to the Problem Behaviour Program and undertake assessments and treatment of clients in the PBP as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Requirements
- General registration with the Psychology Board of Australia
- Master’s or Doctoral qualifications (Clinical, Forensic or Clinical Neuropsychology)
- Extensive knowledge of the current psychological approaches in working with mentally, and/or behaviourally disordered clients in the forensic mental health setting.
- Previous experience working in a mental health facility, correctional service, or a forensic mental health service.
- Expertise in clinical forensic psychology including forensic assessments (i.e., court ordered assessments, assessment of risk for violence) and intervention with offenders and/or forensic patients.
