Lead Commercial Counsel

Forescout is seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Counsel to lead the negotiation of complex commercial agreements and partner with internal teams across the organization in support of our sales organization. The ideal candidate is an experienced, highly motivated and business-focused attorney with deep expertise in cybersecurity, commercial contracting, and enterprise technology transactions.

Requirements

• BA/BS and Juris Doctor (JD) required; licensed to practice in at least one U.S. state.
• 10+ years of experience in-house, at a law firm, or a combination of both, with a proven track record of directly supporting a sales organization drafting and negotiating complex outbound commercial agreements, as well as significant experience with channel and reseller programs.
• Demonstrated knowledge of IP, data protection, and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent legal and business judgment with the ability to quickly assess material risks and find workable solutions, as well as strong problem solving, project management and process optimization skills.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and drafting skills, with the ability to translate complex technical and legal concepts into practical business guidance.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and build productive relationships across a global organization.
• Sense of humor, highly responsive, collaborative and service oriented.
