Excavation Operator

Operate and maintain heavy, motorized equipment used in earth moving operations in a safe and efficient manner. Participate in a drug-free workplace and promote a safety culture. Perform excavation, grading, and compaction of land surfaces and excavate soil and other material from job sites.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent
• 2+ years of heavy equipment operation/maintenance experience (Operator 1)
• 5+ years of heavy equipment operation/maintenance experience (Operator 2)
• 10+ years of heavy equipment operation/maintenance experience (Operator 3)
• 40 Hour HAZWOPER training (preferred)
• Competent Person Safety Training (preferred)
• 8-Hour Supervisory Training (preferred)
• 30-Hour OSHA Construction Safety Training (preferred)
• First Aid and CPR (preferred)
