Job Description
Formlabs is seeking a Senior Materials Scientist to develop world-class materials for 3D printing and collaborate with hardware and software engineers to ensure seamless and reliable printing. The ideal candidate is a creative problem-solver with a solid understanding of materials science and polymer development, passionate about testing and troubleshooting, and able to work autonomously and take initiative to learn new skills.
Requirements
- Conduct research and develop world-class materials for 3D printing
- Collaborate with hardware and software engineers
- Design and perform experiments
- Partner with product management, hardware, and software engineers
- Solid understanding of the fundamentals of materials science and polymer development
- Ability to work autonomously and take initiative to learn new skills
