Job Description
Formlabs is seeking a Materials Scientist to build world-class SLS materials for 3D printing and lead research to push the boundaries of SLS material performance. The ideal candidate will have experience bringing a new material to market, a solid understanding of materials science, and hands-on experience in thermo-plastic engineering.
Requirements
- B.S., M.S., or PhD in a relevant science or engineering field
- Experience bringing a new material to market from ideation to production
- Hands-on experience in thermo-plastic engineering
- Passionate about testing and troubleshooting
- Love to harness data; can design and conduct rigorous experiments to optimize materials
- Can work autonomously and take initiative to learn new skills
- Understand the value of good documentation
