Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical Chlor/Alkali

Formosa Plastics Corporation, U.S.A. is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to optimize the utilization of physical assets and technology resources to manufacture high-quality products in the most efficient and effective manner. The successful candidate will analyze high-cost and failure assets, develop improvements in procedures or design improvements, and sustain a safe and healthy working environment.

Requirements

• B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or other related engineering disciplines
• 1-2 years of project and equipment management experience (preferred)
• Knowledge of core engineering principles (thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, mass and energy balances)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic familiarity with workflow and maintenance systems
• Understanding of maintenance processes and equipment reliability fundamentals
• General knowledge of industrial safety and regulatory requirements
