Job Description
Under the direction of the General Foreman, the Heavy Equipment Operator - Haul Truck Operator is responsible for the operation of a mining/off-highway truck in a safe, productive, and efficient manner on a mining site or Civil Construction worksite.
Requirements
- Completion of a High School Diploma, or a GED equivalent
- Retention of a valid class five (5) driver’s license
- 3 year clean Drivers Abstract
- At least 1-3 years of experience in mining or construction with experience in driving a mining/off-highway truck
- Specific experience in driving/operating a haul truck or verifiable hours
- CSTS and OSSA or BSO or CSO
- Good time management skills
- Ability to speak, write and read English
