Embedded Software Engineer

FORT's platform ensures safe, secure, and dynamic control that surpasses legacy systems and next-generation AI capabilities. As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will own specific components of our embedded stack, bridging the gap between hardware and high-level applications.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of hands-on embedded software development
• Strong proficiency in C and C++
• Solid experience with Embedded Linux and exposure to RTOS
• Familiarity with IP networking protocols and standard interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C, USB, CAN)
• Experience with Python for scripting/automation and familiarity with CI/CD workflows
• Comfort using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, JTAG, and GDB to troubleshoot hard-to-find bugs
• B.S. in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience

Benefits

• Base salary: $120,000 to $145,000 per year
• Total compensation may include additional incentives and benefits
