Electrical Technician - Newbury

We are looking for an enthusiastic Electrical Technician to join our Newbury team. You will be responsible for PPM and breakdown support for a busy production site, upgrading old and installing new machinery, and renovating site facilities.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar field, ideally from a manufacturing environment
• Recognised electrical qualification (apprentice trained, Level 3 or above)
• A methodical mindset, with the ability to problem solve and adapt with short notice
• Experience of industrial installations and control systems
• The ability to fault find and test automated machinery
• Knowledge of AC and DC drives and PLC’s preferably Siemens S5 and S7
• Experience in electronics and instrumentation would be advantageous
• Effective communication skills
• A good understanding of health and safety is essential
• A recognised electrical trade qualification, including the latest IEE regulations
