Job Description
Join Fortinet as a Senior DevOps Engineer to contribute to the success of our rapidly growing business. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will create processes and tools that will be used by our engineering and analyst teams, design and build highly available, scalable, and robust services, and manage a multi-tenant cloud environment with hundreds of containers.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
- Proficiency in cloud computing (AWS preferred)
- High proficiency with virtualized and containerized environments (Kubernetes and Docker)
- Deep understanding of Linux and Linux troubleshooting
- Experience with code languages (Python and Bash preferred)
- Experience with configuration management tools (Terraform, Helm, Ansible, CloudFormation)
- Experience with CI/CD or test automation tools (GitHub actions, Jenkins)
- Experience with NoSQL and database technologies (Elasticsearch, Redis, PostgreSQL)
- Familiarity with message brokers or pub/sub technologies (RabbitMQ, Kafka, AWS SQS)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to grasp new technologies quickly and prioritize and multitask on multiple responsibilities
