Job Description
Fortinet is seeking a Principal Site Reliability Engineer to join their team and lead the design, implementation, and optimization of their highly scalable and resilient cloud infrastructure. This role involves driving strategic initiatives to enhance operational excellence, mentor teams, and set the standard for reliability and automation. The ideal candidate will design, develop, deploy, and operate internal tooling, APIs, and frameworks to streamline workflows and automate infrastructure.
Requirements
- 10+ years of DevOps/SRE experience
- 5+ years of senior/lead experience managing production systems
- Expert-level development and automation skills
- Deep expertise in Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform)
- Advanced experience with Kubernetes and managed services
- Extensive experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Strong cross-team communication and leadership skills
