Principal Software Dev QA Engineer

Fortinet is seeking a Principal Software Development QA Engineer to join their R&D team. This role focuses on ensuring product reliability and accuracy, reviewing requirements, creating test plans, developing automation, and driving release readiness. The engineer will collaborate with developers and work effectively to address issues and contribute to improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of relevant experience, with automation experience preferred
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix systems
• 3+ years of experience using Python and Robot Framework
• Strong understanding of test processes and methodologies
• Good knowledge in Firewall, IPSec, SSL, IdP, BGP, SDWAN, and TCP/IP networking
• Proficiency in using Selenium, Ansible, Jenkins, Docker
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
