Principal Software Engineer

Fortinet is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead data serving platform engineering, design platform-level systems, and build scalable, highly available services. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to define technical roadmaps, mentoring engineers, and advocating for operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have experience with GraphQL, Apache Data Fusion, or Rust, alongside a deep understanding of distributed systems and cloud architectures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 12+ years of experience designing and delivering large-scale, distributed systems.
• Proven experience leading teams and delivering mission-critical services in production.
• Hands-on expertise with GraphQL, Apache Data Fusion, or Rust.
