Professional Services Engineer

Fortinet is seeking Professional Services Consultants to join their team in Santa Clara, CA. The role involves defining daily activities for end-users, developing procedures (MOPs), test plans, and implementations. Consultants work with clients to improve Fortinet's product offerings and ensure interoperability.

Requirements

• 7+ years experience in LAN/WAN /Internet consulting, support and/or administration
• 5+ years experience with Network Security Products
• 2+ years experience with Fortinet products
• Solid understanding of security and networking principals and technologies such as: Network Security Infrastructure – Switching, Routing, Load Balancing, WiFi
• Solid understanding of security and networking principals and technologies such as: Security systems – Firewall, IPS, VPN, Antivirus, AntiSpam, Web Filtering, Application Control
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Outstanding oral communication and presentation skills
• Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources
• Ability to bring project to successful completion through political sensitivity
