Senior Software Development Engineer

Fortinet is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to lead product roadmaps, design new features, and collaborate with R&D and QA. The role involves researching new technologies, developing pre- and post-sales tools, and working with network programming to ensure a robust and secure environment. The position requires a strong problem-solving and debugging skillset, proficiency in C programming, and experience with networking technologies.

Requirements

• 3+ years in software development experience
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Proficiency in C programming in Linux
• Familiarity with Linux operating system
• Experience in network programming (sockets, read/write, etc)
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, SSL, ICMP, ARP, Ethernet
• Fluent in communication and documentation
• B.S. in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
