Senior Software Development Engineer

Fortinet is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to design and implement cloud solutions, research new technology, and maintain existing product code. The role involves bug fixes, new feature development, and collaboration on technical documentation. This position requires hands-on experience with various cloud platforms and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Requirements

• B.S./M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
• Good programming skills in C, Golong and Python
• Knowledge of operating systems including various flavors of Linux
• Experience managing common AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, CloudFormation etc.)
• Experience managing common Azure services (Virtual Machine, Database, Storage, Virtual Network, Azure Resource Manager, etc.)
• Familiarity with GCP services
• Hands-on experience engineering and managing private cloud (OpenStack/CloudStack) and functional programming in AWS Lambda, Azure function, GCP Cloud functions
