Fortinet is a cybersecurity and networking company seeking a Software Dev QA Engineer to design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans for their products, focusing on networking and AI/ML solutions. The role involves testing the robustness, performance, and accuracy of AI/ML models, collaborating with data scientists, and automating test cases. The position requires a hands-on approach, strong networking knowledge, and proficiency in scripting and automation.

Requirements

• 4–8 years of hands-on experience in product testing for networking and/or AI/ML domains.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, and network security protocols.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Java.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab.
• Familiarity with automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of AI/ML concepts, including supervised and unsupervised learning, neural networks, and model evaluation.
• Hands-on experience with testing AI/ML models or familiarity with frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
• Experience with networking tools (Wireshark, Wirelesssniffer) and automation platforms.
