SRE Specialist

Fortinet is seeking an SRE Specialist to build, improve, and maintain information systems globally. This role involves orchestrating infrastructure automation, managing Kubernetes clusters, and ensuring the security and reliability of applications. The SRE Specialist will collaborate with a cross-functional team to deliver high-quality services to customers worldwide.

Requirements

• Master/Bachelor degree in Computer Technologies
• 5+ years of practical administration experience in Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu)
• 3+ years of practical administration experience in Virtualized environments (VMware, LXD, MicroK8s, OpenStack)
• 3+ years of practical experience with automation tools (Ansible/Terraform)
• Knowledge of monitoring network/server systems via SNMP and Zabbix
• Knowledge of observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.
• Knowledge of industry-standard protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, LDAP, HTTPS, SAML)
• Knowledge of CI/CD platforms and DevOps tools (GitLab CI/CD, AWX, Foreman, Docker)
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Python, Go)
• Familiar with automating security patches and working with scripting
• Highly organized, able to multi-task, work individually, and within a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong understanding of security standards and best practices
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
