Staff Software Engineer

Fortinet is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join their FortiCNAPP team, which owns and operates a critical, high-availability, large-volume, and data processing system used in their Cloud security platform. The role involves designing and implementing scalable services, writing code, participating in code reviews, and collaborating with various teams to drive growth and innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 8+ years of relevant experience
• Implemented scalable microservices using languages like Java/Go/Rust. Python experience would be beneficial
• Experience in one or more data stores and technologies including SQL Databases, Snowflake, Postgres, Redshift, Hadoop, Cassandra, Lakehouse etc.
• Great communication skills and a team player
