Systems Engineer, Channel - Netherlands

Fortinet is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the sales organization in all technical aspects of pre-sales and customer interactions. The role focuses on assisting in qualifying leads, providing technical support during sales calls, and training customers on product features and functionality. It requires fluency in Dutch, 5-8 years of technical experience, and strong understanding of networking technologies.

Requirements

• Native/Fluent in Dutch
• 5 – 8 years experience in technical/pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer
• 5 - 8 years experience in LAN/WAN/Internet services administration
• Strong understanding of DNS, NFS, SMTP, HTTP, TCP/IP
• Knowledge of routing, switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, Network Security, Intrusion Detection, and Anti Virus
• Strong understanding in the following technologies and protocols: RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, 3DES
• Strong presentation skills
• Strong understanding in the following technologies and protocols: 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, 3DES
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Graduate degree preferred.
