Job Description
Fortinet is seeking a dynamic Technical Support Engineer to contribute to the success of their rapidly growing business. The role involves providing direct technical support to customers on wireless and switching ranges of Fortinet products, collecting and analyzing network information, and providing customer education. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of networking principles and security products.
Requirements
- Experience in a technical support role in a networking/security company
- Strong understanding of WiFi 802.11 networks and 4G LTE
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols, and L2/L3 switches
- Experience with security products, firewalls, IPSec, IDS/IPS, and WIDS
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Extensive working knowledge of Windows, MACOs, UNIX or Linux
- Previous call center experience (preferred)
