Specialist Engineer, Pipelines

We're seeking a Specialist Engineer, Pipelines to join our team at FortisBC. As the province's largest energy provider, we deliver renewable energy, natural gas, electricity, and propane to 1.3 million customers. In this role, you'll act as a subject matter expert for pipeline design, providing strategic and tactical engineering guidance, overseeing design processes, and offering technical leadership to junior and intermediate engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (such as mechanical engineering, chemical engineering or civil engineering)
• 12 years or more post-secondary experience in natural gas pipeline engineering
• Registration as a Professional Engineer with EGBC, or eligibility for registration as a Professional Engineer with EGBC
