Associate, Portfolio Management & ALM

Fortitude Reinsurance Company Ltd. is seeking an Associate, Portfolio Management & ALM to work closely with portfolio managers to monitor performance and risk, preparing clear analysis and reports to improve returns while staying aligned with liability objectives.

Requirements

• Assist in daily oversight of existing asset portfolios, tracking positions against cedant guidelines and internal risk limits.
• Participate in regular check-ins with external asset managers to discuss market developments, portfolio performance, compliance, and tactical shifts.
• Compile and analyze data on key performance drivers versus targets, highlighting trends and recommending incremental improvements.
• Contribute to the development of investment recommendations by researching market conditions and ALM considerations.
• Help evaluate prospective investments, comparing their relative value to alternative opportunities.
• Support the onboarding and documentation of new investment mandates.
• Collaborate with Actuarial, Risk, Capital, Finance, and Treasury teams on pricing, due-diligence projects, and other firm-wide initiatives.
• Foster positive working relationships across functional teams.
