Fence Installer-Leadman (Fortress)

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Fence Installer (Leadman) to install perimeter and substation fencing in accordance with project specifications, safety standards, and local regulations.

Requirements

• Install chain-link and game fencing around solar fields and substations per project drawings and NEC/AHJ requirements.
• Set terminal, brace, and line posts using concrete footings or driven methods, ensuring alignment and structural integrity.
• Assemble and hang gates with tamper-proof hardware and padlocks.
• Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and fencing specifications to determine layout and materials.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Perform site prep including clearing vegetation, marking post locations, and ensuring access paths are maintained.
• Install signage at required intervals per code and owner requirements.
• Maintain daily logs of installed footage and work performed using digital platforms.
• Comply with OSHA and site-specific safety protocols, including PPE use and participation in daily pre-job briefs.
